Putin lambasts US as performing like ‘God’s messenger,’ promises earth buy is changing

Russian President Vladimir Putin blasted the U.S. in speech from St. Petersburg Friday, accusing Washington of believing it is “God’s messenger” and warning that the world buy is shifting. 

“Soon after declaring victory in the Cold War, the United States proclaimed by itself to be God’s messenger on Earth,” Putin claimed. “They seem to ignore the fact that in the past many years, new effective and increasingly assertive centers have been fashioned.”

Putin’s speech, which was delayed for over an hour because of to an alleged cyber-attack, focused nearly entirely on attacking the U.S. and its Western allies.

The Russian president said the attempts to end his “unique army operation” in Ukraine would not do the job.
