Satellite pictures expose new mass graves at Ukrainian cemetery near Mariupol

Freshly-released satellite visuals Thursday appear to show the existence of a new – and escalating – mass grave site exterior of the Ukrainian town of Mariupol. 

The web site is situated on the northwest corner of Manhush, a town about 12 miles west of Mariupol, and expands upon an already current cemetery there, in accordance to Maxar Technologies. 

“According to latest media reviews, Russian soldiers have been taking the bodies of persons killed in Mariupol to this locale,” the enterprise reported in a assertion.

Maxar Systems say the photographs display four new sections of graves placed in rows, with each and every part currently being about 279 feet in length.

Overall, much more than 200 new graves have appeared at the site, it also mentioned. 

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared victory in Mariupol on Thursday, but President Biden afterwards explained the declare was “questionable.”
